Hydraulic Loading Dock Levelers
Hydraulic loading dock levelers feature push-button activation and boast the highest available weight capacity. They use hydraulic cylinders, single or multiple-unit hydraulic pumps, motor stations, and fully powered lift and lip extension functions. Because these levelers have in-line velocity fuses that prevent free fall in the case of a truck pull-out, they are also the safest loading dock option.
Mechanical Loading Dock Levelers
Our mechanical dock levelers are a cost-effective yet robust and long-lasting solution for simple applications. These levelers raise the deck via a pull chain action. The deck is then easily walked back down to a stowed position or the bed of a trailer by the operator. Our mechanical levelers have an extended range hold-down mechanism and a Lip Drive positive lip extension for extreme float circumstances.
Air-Powered Loading Dock Levelers
Although less expensive than hydraulic levelers, air-powered dock levelers are easily handled with push-button activation. They have a mid-range capacity with an airbag or bellows system to raise and lower the deck. The dock pit does not need electricity because our devices operate on compressed air.
